Light As Pollution

July 22, 2020

The presence of light is generally thought of as a desired asset. What a strange idea that light can be pollution. That light can be equated with darkness having the ability to hide beauty and truth, leading us in a wrong direction.

I was recently staring at a deep desert night sky in awe, totally satisfied when my wife came out and flipped off a light I didn’t realize was on, a vastly clearer picture was revealed. I was amazed how one tiny light bulb could hide all that information.

As the area of our knowledge grows so to does the perimeter of our ignorance let’s be aware of the idea that not all information is sound knowledge and not all light is truth.
